Datalogic

Founded in 1972 in Bologna, Italy, Datalogic (Borsa Italiana: DAL) is one of the leading manufacturers of barcode scanners, mobile computers and optical sensors. Datalogic focuses on two different markets, automatic data collection (ADC) and automation technology. The headquarters are located in Calderara di Reno, Italy.

One of the key features of the Datalogic barcode scanners is that, in addition to Bluetooth, the 433 MHz narrowband radio technology is also available, which allows the use of wireless scanners in areas where Bluetooth is not desired or not allowed.

Datalogic has approximately 2,000 employees in 30 countries and 7 production sites in Italy, USA, Slovakia and Vietnam (as of 2016).
